Acoo Browser – Just Updated To Version 1.80.988!

Until now, I never considered software updates to be funny. You got a program, that program gets a new version, some new features, and that's all, but today, I just found out about a "ghost-update"! How's that? Well, it's announced everywhere, but all possible links lead to an older version of the program! I am sure this problem should be solved today, so I have to tell you about the latest update to Acoo Browser, one of those great IE-based browsers, together with Maxthon or Avant...

If Acoo Browser sounds like something new, then you should know it comes from China(and that explains any English language errors you may find on their site), and features multi-tabbed browsing, an excellent pop-up blocker and a built-in ad filter, together with an ActiveX filter, foe improved security, a RSS rendering engine, mouse gestures, "safe recovery", groups and other things you would like to have in your favorite browser.

If the above is not enough, you can also use additional extensions, and if you are one of those that enjoy changing the themes of their applications according to the day of the week or their mood, you'll be pleased to find out that Acoo Browser has a skinnable interface.

Getting back to where we started, I must say it again - the last version announced on the official site is 1.80.988, but all download links lead were leading to some 1.74 version. Great! While I was writing this, they fixed the problem, so feel free to get your hands on Acoo Browser 1.80.988!
