The only thing that you will have to do is to create a Yahoo account. You will be able to download games from Yahoo for a free trial version, that lasts 30 minutes. In the case of other games, this trial version is of only 5 minutes and in other cases, the trial version does not even exist.

If you like the game taking into consideration only the presentation of the game and the reviews of the game that you find online or the reviews made by your friends, you can download a game even without seeing how it reacts on your computer. This is wrong, if you ask me, because if you don’t know how to read the technical requirements needed by the game, you can end up in situation of getting the game and not using it, because you have a too old computer or a certain internal component does not work as expected, when you run the game.

Some of the downloads that are available on Yahoo can be performed for free as well. I remember that I have downloaded a game 5 years ago and the price was to watch some ads from two levels to the next two levels and so on. Or, if the level was too long, because I was too stupid to end it (which did not happen obviously), the ads appeared in the middle of the level (at an interval of ten minutes or so). I imagine that the appearance of the ads on the screen was programmed by programmers. I guess they wrote the code so that the game to take into consideration first the levels and their count (one level without ads, the second one with ads, the third level without ads, the fourth with ads and so on) and only then if the level two was waited too long, to set a time interval, a limit, at which the ads to be performed on screen.

I tried this, because I have selected at one level, a certain mission that allowed me to waste some time. Normally, the missions were against the clock. So, I did what I was told and then I started to check the neighbourhoods, to see where I am. While I did this, I wasted time, which allowed me to see how much longer the program will wait until I will see the ads on screen. And the time that was set was about of 10 minutes. I cannot remember so well. After all, it is about 5 years since I have played games on Yahoo.
