Changing the Maximum Download Sessions in Vista’s Internet Explorer

By default, Vista's Internet Explorer is only able to download 2 files at a time from the same website, and most people using it find this not enough, especially those with a high bandwidth at their disposal. Obviously, today I'll show you how to change this setting...
- Open the Registry Editor.

- Navigate to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\
Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings.

- Create a new DWORD (32bit) Value.

- Name this value MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server, and set its value as you need. This is going to be the new maximum amount of simultaneous connections to a server possible for Internet Explorer in Vista!

As it usually happens with tricks that involve editing the system registry, I advise you to be cautious and backup your registry first of all. Good luck!
