Digg users are expecting new features to be implemented, which to make the site get a social networking look.

Digg founder Kevin Rose said in an interview that "This is really the first time that we have enabled communications between users", referring to a new feature that will enable users to communicate easier by forming groups of interests.
The new profile pages will show more information about the users and they will have the possibility to share pictures, lists of interests, and also links to blogs or social networking profiles, all these having access rights settings.
Digg.com has currently 20 million visitors from which only 20% are registered users.
