EmEditor 7 Standard Is (Almost) Available


One of the few Vista-certified text editors, EmEditor, just got a new major release for its "Standard" version, bringing the current label to 7.0. Despite the fact it missed Christmas, you could grab this tool as a present for the New Year's night. Why would you do that? Well, let's see...

What about being able to open a 4GB file easily on a computer with 1GB of memory inside your text editor? EmEditor is available for Vista, including Vista x64, and also as a portable application. OK, since this is not a review, we should see what's new in EmEditor 7 Standard, because EmEditor 7 Professional is almost an old story already, being around since the 18th of this month. The only problem is that, as it happened before, I just got into some news so hot, that the official website isn't updated yet. Pretty funny, isn't it?The most interesting part of it all is that no changes have been made on Emurasoft's official site, as I was just saying, so all I can give you at this time is a hint - keep you eyes wide open, EmEditor 7 Standard will arrive in a matter of hours!
