The French government involved in this believing it will be the easiest and simplest method ever created.
It consists of an open-source toolbar for Thunderbird and Outlook email software, through which users will be able to notify the Internet Service Providers about the suspected emails.
John Graham-Cumming is the one who developed the software, called SignalSpam.
He described it as a very useful tool which forwards the spam messages to a central database.
Further, these are sent to the ISP which can decide if to close the sender’s account.
Statistics showed that the worst countries in spam generation are US, China, UK and on the France on the 10th place.
After Outlook and Thunderbird, in the near future, the SignalSpam system will be adopted also by Microsoft and Google.
