A big player on this market is Apple Company that invented a platform called iTunes. Described as a music and video manager, the iTunes application could be used either for Mac or PC. Apple iTunes brings a new perspective of what we used to call listening to music. For instance, you can take a virtual tour through the iTunes Store. Here you can found all types of music categories and listen a preview of a certain song, before you decide what you are up to do with it: share on Facebook, keep it in your Wish list or purchase the song and make a virtual gift.
The latest version of iTunes provides even a kind of social network named Ping. This application allows the user to connect with his favorite artists and follow their activity, connect with friends by sending an invitation for friends to use iTunes or if you prefer the consecrated Facebook network, well you can link the iTunes application to your profile.

The process is very simple, open the program, put the CD into the CD-ROM and then just click the” yes” option, when it asks you whether you want to import files to your iTunes. That’s all, after that, you will find the added songs into the Library section! Moreover you can take your favorite music with you anywhere, thanks to another option that iTunes has: burning a music CD. So, if you really do not want to stay away from the music you are used to listen to and the way from home to job seems boring, make a CD you can play in your car. Here are the steps: open the application and select from the File menu: “New Playlist”, then choose the songs you want to add from Library. When you are done, put a blank CD into your computer and click on the burn option you have on iTunes, just bellow your new created playlist.
