Free Mobile Phone Unlocking Software

Usually when you go to a specialized store you are offered the mobile phone together with a monthly paid subscription contract. But if you want only to buy the device without acquiring the services, too, then you will have an unlocked mobile phone, nice and smart but that does not work. In this case or in the case when you get the phone as a gift form a friend, you must do something to unlock it, that is if you want to use it. There is always the possibility to phone at some numbers that overcharge you or buy the right software that can help you unlock the mobile phone. But why should you pay for something that you can find for free on the internet? Just make sure that when you are looking for such free mobile phone unlocking software don't call any phone numbers that overcharge you and in fact they do exactly what you can do by yourself and take your money, too. Also it is wise to avoid web sites that are requesting you to pay a certain fee in order to become a member if you want free access to the wanted software. Don't worry, you will find totally free of charge software if you look with enough patience for this.
There are two possibilities to find out the right code that will unlock your mobile phone so that you can use it as soon as possible: the first possibility is to download the software on your computer and then to introduce the fifteen digits number of your IMEI in the unlocking code calculator. But what exactly is this IMEI? IMEI is an acronym for International Mobile Equipment Identity and is an international "Serial number" for your phone and it is usually used for its identification. It is similar to people's social security number if I may say so as a comparison. Your phone IMEI can be found at the back of the phone behind the battery. Or you can aslo find it if you press *#06#* on your phone keyboard and then press "enter" or "dial". But in case your phone displays more than 15 digits for your IMEI , you must use only the first fifteen without any spaces or dashes used. Make sure you use the right numbers, that is the digits on the back of the phone and not the ones on the back of the box in which the phone was bought, as these two numbers are different and this will not help you. After you right the ISEI number in the little window opened by the software, press eneter and you will be displayed the right code for your phone to be unlocked.
The other option is the online Nokia unlock key generator that you can find here. Then all you have to do is enter the IMEI, the model of your phone and the country (these two can be selected from a list) and you will immediately see the right code for unlocking your phone. Some web sites, however, provide this code only by email in a matter of minutes.
As you can see, Nokia has been one of the few companies that officially offered free codes for unlocking their phones, but you can also find the codes for other phone models and brands, but this time not on an official web site, but provided thanks to other web sites. For example www.cnet.com offers you the possibility to download free mobile phone unlocking software that allows you to find the right code for unlocking your phone and at the same time to use whatever phone company you like, without being restricted by a subscription. You may even change multiple SIM cards on your phone to use different mobile phone networks. The software offered here for free allows you to find the unlocking code for over 2000 models of mobile phones and in 30 countries. This is an amazing data base, very helpful for mobile phone users. It is even more useful as it includes such brands as Blackberry, Motorola, Sagem, Smartphone, etc and tries to cover as many mobile phone networks as possible.
If you can't find your phone model among the ones listed in the above mentioned software application, you may search Google for free DCT4 calculator . This amazing softwareis in the public domain and the person who wrote it only left a nickname, as he or she did not want any credit or money for this, but just wanted to help people. My guess is that this person has a similar problem with a locked mobile phone and was so pissed off that he couldn't find the right code for unlocking it, that he made this software himself just for this purpose. Anyway, this software can help you find what you are looking for, again with the help of that 15 digit number called IMEI and all the other information necessary regarding your phone brand, country and so on. Being public domain software, this software is supposed to be free for personal use, but it must not be used for commercial purposes, that is to use it in order to make money by selling the public domain product. However, there are some people who took advantage of this FREE software , downloaded it and used it to offer unlock codes for a certain fee. Pay attention to all the terms and conditions of such web sites offering to give you unlock codes, but also asking you to pay for this service, as you can do it yourself for free.
There are some serious companies, like Samsung for example, that offer their clients an online service of this kind for providing unlocking codes. As you can see from the picture above this is a remote client service and it is offered for Samsung clients only. Be honest with the people from that company and tell them that you purchased the phone because you like the brand, but you found some other phone company to offer better deals or simply that you received the device as a gift. They will give you the necessary code for unlocking the phone if you supply them the information they need. Just access the web site advertised in the picture and they will guide you what to do next, giving you step by step directions.
One last piece of advice: if you have such a locked mobile phone from an untrustworthy person, make sure the device is locked because it has never been used before and it is not blocked. It is a big difference because a phone is blocked if it has been stolen and its previous owner has reported it stolen, hence it has been blocked.
