Free Morse Code Software

The Morse code was invented by Samuel Morse who is also the father of the telegraph, the instrument that used the Morse code. It was intensively used in the early days of communication, starting with 1840 when it was invented. Before the radio communication was invented this was the only way to communicate in the distance and, besides, it is a very  easy code.



Nowadays is it very rarely used, only by the people who job request it, for example aviators, people in the navy and the marines or some other people who do it just for fun. Learn the basics, step by step, starting with learning the Morse code first, I mean the replacement of the letters and numbers with dashes and dots and then, little by little, learn how to form words, how to pause between the words, so that you let your interlocutor know it's the end of one word or sentence, then try to encode a whole sentence by using the Morse code. Practice that with your friends and you will have a lot of fun. Then exchange sentences and try to decode a message. Only after you can do that in writing it is time for you to go to another level and hear the audio messages using the Morse code. Then just practice and enjoy, as you will never know when you need it.
