Nullsoft, the creator of most popular media player, is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Winamp and in the same time releases a new version, Winamp 5.5.
The new version which is available for download on the Winamp website has a redesigned interface, iPod support, new Winamp Remote feature for sharing songs and videos, Smart Search feature which allows you to gather artists, concert news or videos; Media Monitor to create playlists with music from the Internet; new Dynamic Song Recommendations feature, MP3 Surround Sound Support, 50 free MP3 music downloads compliments of eMusic's 2-week trial; Auto-Tagger feature for automatic updates, and a Winamp toolbar for your browser.
There is also a Winamp Pro version available here, which offers Audio CD burning at speeds up to 48x, and music encoding/ripping feature for aacPlus, AAC, MP3, and WMA supported formats.
