Hot DivX Codec Download

I don't know why, but lately I didn't find myself looking for a DivX codec download too often. Well, that's mostly VLC's fault, since it comes with all necessary filters included, so I can easily play most movies without any special problems, but I was surprised to find that the notorious DivX finally reached a new milestone - version 7.0 was officially released less than a day ago!
"We're now introducing the next generation of DivX technology with DivX 7 — our new software that lets you create and play full HD H.264 (MKV) videos. H.264 is a new standard that is poised to power the high definition video revolution by offering incredible visual quality, performance and efficiency. DivX 7 gives you all the tools you need to take full advantage of H.264 for a truly cinematic video experience," says the official DivX website, and I have no proof they are liars, of course. ;)
DivX 7.0 comes as a standard edition, and a Pro one, with the standard one including trial versions of the DFX Audio Enhancer and all content creation capabilities, while the Pro version is priced at $19.99, and features everything ready to go, except for the DFX Audio Enhancer, still a 30-day trial.
If you want to know more about DFX, you can check the official page, but my suggestion is to grab a decent set of speakers and leave such sound enhancers for those using them to make up for poor sound hardware. I've been there, and I know what I'm saying! ;)
