How to Display Large Images at Full Size by Default in Firefox

Since the connection speeds go higher and higher these days, it's no longer a problem to open large images from various web pages, but when you want to choose a nice wallpaper for your new 22" wide monitor, clicking again and again to show the images Firefox loads at full size can become really annoying, as you can see below.
The default Firefox setting scales down large images

Fortunately, I found a hidden setting that allows us to make Firefox open all large images at full size, instead of trying to fit them inside the browser's window, and here's how to make things right...

- Before anything else, type "about:config" in the address bar, and then press Enter.
First step

- In the Filter field, enter "browser.enable" to show only the setting we have to change.
Finding our setting

- Double click the field highlighted in the screenshot below to change it.
Double click this to change it

- From now on, high resolution images will load properly, without being resized to fit the window.
Now you can enjoy full size images in Firefox much easier

If you want to navigate inside these high resolution images, you can simply use the scroll bars in Firefox, your arrow keys or the scroll buttons of your mouse, if you have one of those models with vertical and horizontal scroll buttons. To disable this setting and return to the defaults, go through the steps above again, and be sure that the browser.enable_automatic_image_resizing preference's value is true.

This is it, I hope you'll find this as useful as I did!
