Accounting systems form an integral part of any successful business. Proper accounting not only helps the organization know its monitory worth, but also works as leverage to climb the ladders of growth

Don't give Sage too much credit. I worked for this company for years, and ******line Software for much longer before they were purchased by Sage. Here is the rub. Sage is not a high tech company as their marketing leads you to believe. They do not compete with MS, Oracles, etc., in the sense that they a high tech leader. They are a group of bankers in England who acquire software companies. They are a holding company. When they purchased ******line Software, they lead that campaign with countless lies. since then, the quality of the products have as well as their service. This is due to their mode of operation: cost based accounting and very little R&D budget. They have latterly sucked the life out of that company. They only maintain great product that was created and designed by someone else. If these truths are hard to digest, I would suggest that you take a random questionnaire of their legacy customer base about life with Sage. Although they still manage good products, I would be leery of my long term investment in products owned by sage because of their business model: they are a holding company. Holding companies sooner or later will “release” their investments for a profit.
