While Skype is a very popular Internet telephony software, with an ever-expanding user base (currently, this figure is around 250 millions), their prices left enough room for competitors to strike, offering about the same services for less money. Today, we're going to talk a little about a worthy competitor to Skype, called Gizmo...
The latest beta version of this program was released today, and is labeled 4.0.0.325. Gizmo's features include unlimited free calling between Gizmo users, free calling to landline and mobile phones using the "All Calls FREE" plan(more details about it can be found on this page), as well as the ability to chat with Windows Live Messenger, AIM, Yahoo! Messenger, GoogleTalk users! Oh, yeah, there's more - you also get free voice mail, and the call out rate for US land/mobile calls is only 1.9cents/minute, which sounds great, in my opinion...
The beta version I mentioned above is only available for the Windows platform at this time, but Gizmo 3.1 has version for Windows, Mac, Linux, and for various mobile devices, too. Simply go to the download page, here, grab what you need, and start talking! Just remember to get back here when you can spare a minute and share your opinion with us, OK? I have Skype and gizmo, and there is not way, that gizmo can be compare to skype. With skype everything is easy, gizmo is too problematic. I can go at anytime and cancel My account with Skype, that is not the case with Gizmo, I've beeing trying to cancel My account with gizmo, for more than 3 days, and I can't do it, because they don't have on there webpage, a link to do it. I've sent them 4 messegess, in 3 days, trying to get there help, and Ihaven't get and answer from them yet.
Don't Gizmo people know, that this is not a way to do business?, can they do something better for there customers?.
