If you want to protect your computer from attacks you can purchase various software programs and utilities which are designed to protect the PC but the truth is that the password which you use for certain things which you want to protect it extremely important. The hackers can easily enter in your e-mail or in other important programs if you do not have a strong password to protect them. Forget all the things that you saw in the movies in which one uses a certain program which can identify the password in seconds. The truth is that in most of the cases the hackers can enter the system because of very weak passwords.
There are different passwords which are usually used by people and which are very easy to break. Many people use the word “password” for their password, believing that no one will thing of that. Other people use “123456” for their password, and I should tell you that these two passwords get broken the easiest.
There are many websites such as the ones which offer e-mails, or message boards, which do not demand a very strong password which should combine numbers, letters, and characters, and because of laziness many people decide to use the ones I previously mentioned. The problem is that by entering your e-mail or such, the hacker can have access to precious data and as a result there can be devastating consequences. In what follows I am going to give you some tips about the passwords which might help you prevent someone from hacking into your account.

One of the best things you could do when it comes to preventing someone from hacking into your account is to use longer passwords. The longer the password is the slimmer are the chances for it to get broken because usually the software programs which the hackers use, guess common password phrases, and birth date combinations. A good trick is to get a phrase and then use the first letter of each word for the password.

For example “Arsenal is the best team in the world” becomes AITBTITW, which is pretty difficult to hack. If the site is case sensitive, then you can capitalize several letters which can make the password even more difficult to crack. If you use numbers as well, the process of cracking the password will be almost impossible. You should also change the password once in a while. Once every four months would be recommended. If you use the message boards a lot, and let’s say that you have 10 different accounts, you should never use the same Username and password for each account, because by cracking a password the hackers will have access to all your accounts.
