Windows 7 Beta Testing… Or Not!?!

I said it before, and now I will say it one more time - I don't hate Microsoft, only that I can't keep away and being nice to them. Every time I see somebody complaining about Windows, I feel happy that my PSU is not manufactured by them, and I am not even eating Microsoft food. Just look at the Windows 7 Beta testing, and figure out how would it be if some food or drugs company would allow its products to reach people...

...and post something like this on their official blog: "As much as the Windows 7 Beta completely rocks, part of the beta process is discovering bugs and reporting those bugs. Some of those bugs could possibly lead to data loss. I tend to be a risk-taker myself and have gone all-out with the Windows 7 Beta by putting it on almost all my PCs both at work and at home, but not everyone should do this."
Translated in plain English - "for now, you may blow up your computer, and lose all your data, so that's why we're giving away Windows 7 Beta for free testing. Since we know you're crazy about free Windows downloads, get this and test it for us, please. It's a crisis and professional testers are not that cheap, you know..."
The beta of Windows 7 will only be available to the first 2.5 million people who rush in and download it on the 9th of January, although it would be extremely amusing that no specific time has been mentioned, so people in Europe may try to download it at a few hours too late...
Anyway, you can get Windows 7 Beta from TechNet, as long as you're a subscriber, and same thing goes for MSDN subscribers. Just my five cents - don't rush in to get it! Wait for a few days until the fog clears, and we'll see if Windows 7 Beta testing managed to blow up some people's expectations or not.
